Classic Adidas Sportswear and Running…

Last night I got in a 5K in exactly 29 minutes.  I actually remembered my watch!  I’m not getting a lot quicker, but it’s getting easier, that’s for sure.  Dinner: big glass of OJ and apples!  Nice.
In the spirit of running I thought I’d post a classic:

Here’s the Adidas Firebird Track Top.  Classic, branded, but [...]

Racers!

Adidas ZXRacers here.  I love these.  SUPER comfortable trainer with a fantastic, classic look.

This yellow is a bit intense (the stripes are a purple, eggplantish color), but they look surprisingly good on.  Strange, but nice.

White and red.

Blue and white.

Campus Life (adidas style)

Adidas Campus II trainer.  Really nice shoe here.  Nice dark colorway with the royal blue stripe.  These also fit really well.

Adidas Americana

I’ve seen these (in pictures) with just blue stripes.  I’d love that.  This is a bit more Capt. America than I’m used to, but I do like them a lot.  These are some VERY comfortable trainers.  The nylon mesh is reminiscent of the Rod Laver style.  Good trainer here.

Of Adidas Trainers, and other things that make life good…

Aditennis in canvas.  Nice shoe.  Very nice color ways for this season, too.  Be careful with the sizing.  I take a 1/2 size smaller in this than nay other Adidas trainer.

In other news, running has been quite good!  On days that I don’t feel like running outside I’ve been working the elliptical trainer.  On other [...]

Oh Adi Dassler, you and your legacy…

I scored (on the cheap at an outlet) a sweet pair of Adidas XZX 123’s.  Admittedly, the colorway is a bit, shall we say, provocative, but I really dig them.  That, and they are AMAZINGLY comfortable, makes me feel less like someone attempting to steal Kanye West’s recycled 80s style, and more like me wearing [...]

Trainer bliss..

Adidas Indoor tennis.  Lovely trainer.  Looks proper.  Again, understated and quality.  Very  comfortable.  No tread (as they were made to play on indoor carpet) so I imagine these can be a bit dodgy in wet or icy conditions.  I tend to wear them when it’s a bit nicer, but I’ve never had trouble.

Understated, yet Brilliant

The Adidas Gazelle OP.  This is a brilliant one piece canvass construction indoor futball shoe.  Wonderful.  This shoe is comfortable and looks proper.

So much…

It’s been a year this week that A Casual Web Log has been up and running.  Thanks for reading!
Last week was a busy one, for sure.  Likewise the Thursday before, I went to a hardcore show.  Check out Have Heart.  They are from Boston and they do it right.  I had never been to a show [...]

AdiTennis Trainer…

I recently picked up a pair of adiTennis canvas trainers.  Excellent.  They are a very comfy, great looking shoe.

The toe cap is a nice touch.  It gives a good bit of balance and protection, but isn’t over the top as can sometimes be the case with some of the newer Adidas basketball orientated shell-tops.

The laces are a [...]
