I have been waiting AGES for a vegan version of the Adidas Samba to surface, and they finally have! These are made of hemp and are apparently exclusive to the Journey’s store. I LOVE the look of this shoe and, truth be told, the samba is 1 of only 2 leather shoes I wore at all over the last 18 or so years. (I ditched them, along with a pair of Doc Martins, in a bin for Hurricane Katrina victims. I just didn’t feel wearing the leather, and I figured the folks who lived through that needed some good stuff.)
At any rate, these shoes are BRILLIANT.
Above are the green, below are the gray.
Fantastic trainer. Comfortable, true to size and excellent looking.
These are AMAZINGLY comfortable trainers.
I think they have a pretty nice look to them as well.
One of my new favorites, for sure.
My Missus gave these to me last X-Mas. Brilliant!
Adidas Campus. I can’t tell you how chuffed I was when Adidas started doing some of the “classics” line in synthetics rather than leathers! Brilliant shoe here. Comfy, looks proper. I love the splash of color at the heel.
HELLO! I’m back! It has been TOO long since I have posted anything on here. I’ve been busy busy busy with work and life and futball and the rest of it, but in the new year (and here in the deep freeze of winter in my neck of the woods!) I really hope to get back into regular posts on this blog. Likewise, I finally got a few new snaps up on my photoblog Crumbling Spires. Check it out (in the links – all home-made postcards of my crumbling, broken, beautiful city).
I have some new things to post on here, but for today I want to showcase these beauts! The Adidas Nizza low cuts. I like the asymmetrical toe. Nice one! Good all around trainer!
It’s good to be back!
Adidas Stan Smiths. VERY proper.
Very nice, especially on the cheap!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. Adidas Indoor Tennis. These are the brown. All canvas and synthetic. They are SO nice and comfortable!
They just look proper to me.
I also like these because, at least in my neck of the woods, they are slightly harder to come by and a bit uncommon. One word of caution…there is NO tread, as they were made to play on indoor tennis courts, so wearing these on wet days can be tricky!
