The Holidays were wonderful and it’s good to be back to something approximating a schedule.  I, of course, don’t have one yet, and I’m sure I won’t have one for a few more weeks yet, but, you know…it’s nice all the same.

My lovely Misus was more than kind to me at the holidays and gave me some fantastic presents that are destined to grace this web log sooner rather than later.  That said, to tide you over I thought I’d drop a few links to things I’ve been keeping an eye on that intrigue me:

6876 As per usual the good folks over at 6876 are doing amazing things.  The Sonora Jacket is especially noteworthy, as is the pullover shirt they have just re-released.

Penfield This Mass. based outer wear company has been on my radar for a while now.  I especially like the Mackinaw jacket, as it is NOT stuffed with bits that came off of birds:

And finally

Superga  The People’s Shoe of Italy has won a place in my heart.  I picked up a pair of Cotu Classics and was blown away by how comfortable they are and how well they fit.  They look proper, as well:

Excellent.

So there you have it…a few distractions to keep your mind off of heating bills that are hundreds and hundreds of dollars.  More to follow, soon!
